Eggless Chocolate cake without oven recipe | Quick and easy Eggless chocolate cake on stove top recipe | Eggless chocolate cake with butter cream frosting recipe


Delicious, rich, soft and moist eggless chocolate cake with buttercream frosting without using oven is so simple and easy to make with less ingredients on stove top by using non-stick pan or even pressure cooker without whistle and gasket. Two layers of eggless chocolate cake filled with buttercream frosting is perfect to make at home within less point of time for party celebrations or any other special occasions and can easily decorate the cake of your choice. i am sure you will find yourself as a winner. :)


Important points while baking:
  • Remember and make sure ingredients are at room temperature and do not over bake them, that might change the flavor or end up with dry cake. 
  • Here if you are not having hand mixer or electric mixer, don't worry you can even use whisk or wooden spoon to mix cake mixture.
  • Here by adding vegetable or canola oil, that gives super moist to cake, make sure to use only vegetable oil or canola oil or any unflavored oil of your choice.  
  • Fill the cake bowl with half filled and place it in the center for even baking.
  • Depending on type of stove you are using, baking time may varies. So keep an eye on that so, it will not end up with over baked cake.
  • In frosting you can increase or decrease quantity of powdered sugar according to your taste.
  • Brushing with sugar syrup is not mandatory. In this recipe, i am not using sugar syrup. If you consume cake on the same day probably no need to soak in sugar syrup but, if you want to keep it for few days we have to use syrup because cake tends to dry out in few days. 
  • Before frosting let the cake come to room temperature. If not, frosting butter will melt and spoils.

Ingredients for eggless chocolate cake:
  •   All-purpose flour - 1/2 cup
  •   Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup
  •   Cocoa powder - 4 tbsps
  •   Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  •   Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
  •   Milk - 1/2 cup
  •   Oil - 4 tbsps
  •   Old unused Nonstick pan or Pressure cooker without whistle and gasket.
  •   Small heavy bottom bowl.
Procedure for Eggless Chocolate cake:
  • Preheat an old unused nonstick pan with lid on a medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes by placing a stand as shown in the video.
  • Grease butter in a small thick heavy bottom bowl as shown in the video.
  • Into the mixie jar, add all-purpose flour, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, milk, oil. Blend it for a minute or until well combined or instead of mixie jar you can replace with hand mixer or electric mixer or whisk of your choice.
  • Transfer the mixture into the greased bowl and path it twice. So, if there are any air bubbles will escape. Place the cake bowl in the center of preheated pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick or fork inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Depending on type of stove you are using, baking time may varies. So keep an eye on that so that it will not end up with over baked cake.
  • Let the cake rest for 15 minutes or until it cools down completely and then run knife around the edges of the bowl, invert cake onto wire rack or into a plate. As shown in the video, you can see eggless chocolate cake is super soft and moist. Make sure, let the cake comes to room temperature before frosting.
Ingredients for buttercream frosting:
  • Unsalted butter - 1/4 cup (room temperature)
  • Powdered sugar - 1/4 cup
  • Vanilla essence - 1/4 tsp
Procedure for buttercream frosting: 
  • Into a deep bowl, add butter and beat well for 1 or 2 minutes or until butter is nice and smooth by using spatula or whisk or hand mixer or electric mixer, increase the speed gradually when you using electric mixer. 
  • Add powdered sugar, make sure there is no lumps, add vanilla essence and gently mix it once completely as shown in the video, so that it will not splatter. Now beat it well for a minute or until it is light and fluffy. 
  • Buttercream frosting is ready now. cover this and Set this aside. You can even store this in freezer for 2 to 3 weeks and use whenever if required, but before using make sure frosting is at room temperature.
Ingredients for Sugar Syrup:
  • Sugar - 1/4 Cup
  • Water - 1/2 Cup
  • Lemon Juice or Vinegar - 1/2 tsp
Procedure for Sugar Syrup:
  • Into a sauce pan add water, sugar and allow sugar to melt completely on a medium flame. once it comes to boil, turn off the flame and then add lemon juice or even you can add vinegar of your choice. By adding lemon juice or vinegar it prevents crystallizing. Keep this sugar syrup aside and let it cool completely.
Assembling Eggless Chocolate cake:
  • Place turntable or don't worry if you are not having turntable instead of that you can even use a plate placed over the wide bowl.
  • If the cake is having dome, slice off the top layer of dome to achieve flat cake top or else continue to next step. Do not discard the sliced one which can even use it for decoration.
  • Now divide the cake into two layers place one layer of cake on turntable. (start light brushing with sugar syrup, make sure syrup is at room temperature. Soaking in sugar syrup will keep cake fresh and moist. If you consume cake on the same day probably no need to soak in sugar syrup but, if you want to keep it for few days we have to use syrup because cake tends to dry out in few days). 
  • Now add butter cream and spread it evenly by using offset spatula or knife.  place the second layer and add the remaining frosting and spread it evenly on top and sides of the cake. If you are going to decorate the cake with some rosettes transfer some amount of frosting into piping bag and can decorate it.
  • Decorate cake with left over trimmed cake as shown in the video and also decorate with some rainbow sprinkles. You can get these from grocery stores or even you can decorate the cake of your choice.
  • Here our yummy and delicious eggless chocolate cake with buttercream frosting is ready now. 
  • Cut the cake, If you want a clean cut, just wipe off the knife with paper towel of each cut.
  • Serve this delicious, soft and super moist eggless chocolate cake as a dessert or snack.
