Rava Laddu recipe | Festival sweet | Quick and easy sweet recipe | రవ్వ లడ్డూలు తయారు చేసే విధానం

Rava laddu or ladoo is a quick and easy festive sweet or dessert which can be easily made at home under less point of time. These simply delicious rava ladoos melts in your mouth when you have it and even beginners can make these ladoos without any expertise by following below tips and tricks.

Tips & Tricks:
  • By dry roasting semolina or sooji, it gives a very nice aroma and crunchy texture. Once sooji is at room temperature, grind it for multiple pulses under 5 to 6 seconds and make sure not to make into powder.
  • When you are using milk while making these rava ladoos, you can store these ladoos for hardly 2 to 3 days at room temperature and as per the taste delicious and mouth watering.
  • Ghee can be replaced instead of milk, you can store these ladoos for 10 to 15 days at room temperature but these ladoos absorb lot of ghee approximately a cup and as per the taste no words, simply delicious.
  • When you are giving these ladoos to kids better to prepare with ghee and for adults better to prepare with milk as per your health conscious. 
  • These rava ladoo's can make it easily when any unexpected guests are at home under less point of time and will be simply delicious.

Ingredients for Rava Ladoo:
  • Semolina or Sooji - 1 Cup
  • Sugar - 3/4 cup
  • Cardamom Powder - 1 Tsp
  • Broken Cashews - few
  • Raisins - few
  • Ghee - 2 tbsps or required amount
  • Grated coconut - 1/4 Cup
  • Milk - 3 tbsps or required amount
Procedure for rava ladoo:
  • Dry roast sooji or semolina on a medium heat until you get nice aroma from it and crunchy texture. Once this is done transfer to other plate and allow it to cool down completely.
  • Grind roasted rava for multiple pulses under 5 to 6 seconds and make sure not to make into fine powder. set aside.
  • Heat ghee in same pan and roast broken cashews on a medium flame until light golden in colour. Now add raisins and allow them to puff up just for few seconds.
  • Add grated coconut and roast it for few more seconds. Now add sooji or semolina and roast it for few seconds. Add sugar, cardamom powder. Mix it up completely and turn off the flame.
  • Transfer the mixture to another bowl and when the mixture is still warm, add milk little by little and make into round shaped ladoos. Here instead of milk you can replace with ghee of your choice. When you are using milk, you can store these ladoos for 2 to 3 days at room temperature and when you are using ghee, you can store these ladoos for 10 to 15 days at room temperature.
  • Now repeat the same process for the remaining mixture and inbetween making ladoos, just scrap your hand with spoon so that you can easily get nice round shape as shown in the video.
  • Store these yummy and tasty rava ladoos in an airtight container and can serve these delicious rava ladoo as a snack or dessert of your choice.
